With effect from 1st January 2009 Orchards Infant School will amalgamate with Sandcross Junior School to become Sandcross Primary School.

The School will operate from two sites. The Nursery, Reception and Years 1 and 2 will be based at the site in Alexander Road and Years 3,4,5 and 6 will be based at the Sandcross Road site.

All children who join the school after 1 January 2009 will have automatic progression from the Infant school to the Junior school. Pupils who join Orchards Infant School before 31 December 2008 will continue to apply for a place at the Junior school of their choice, which in most cases will be Sandcross School.
